Breast Cancer Prevention Centre

The municipality of Kavala in collaboration with DIMOFELIA, through the “Health” contract that they both have signed and agreed upon, and in the framework of applying Preventive Medicine, they operate since 2005 a Breast Cancer Prevention Centres on the ground floor of the former P.I.K.P.A building.

The centre has a specialised clinic, where tests are being made for the prognosis of breast cancer. With regards to prevention, educational advice is being given on how to self-exam for early diagnosis and treatment.
